Meet the photographer behind Juniper Picture Lab

Hi, I’m Karolina.
I started photographing weddings at 16 in the Czech Republic. After living in Poland and spending time travelling, love brought me to Denmark during the pandemic. I now live near Odense with my partner and our two young children.
With a bachelor’s degree in photography and a master’s degree in UX design, I combine a strong technical foundation with a deep understanding of people and experiences. I speak Danish, English, Czech, and a bit of Polish, which often helps create a relaxed and natural atmosphere, especially for international weddings.
As a person, I’m calm and structured. I like things to be well organised, so you can fully relax and trust the process.
At the same time, I’m deeply curious about people, their stories, their connections, and the quiet moments in between. That curiosity is what made me fall in love with photography in the first place.
I’m also a nature lover at heart. I feel most at home outdoors, and that naturally shapes the way I see light, atmosphere, and the subtle beauty of your day.
My style: Finding beauty in the imperfection and realness

I’m not drawn to overly staged moments or anything that feels forced. As a documentary photographer, I focus on genuine emotion and the beauty found in the natural flow of the day.
My ideal clients are simply those who want to remember their wedding as it truly felt.

When I don't have a camera in my hand...
When I’m not photographing, I’m probably in the garden, in the kitchen, or off on a little van trip. I love mushroom picking and being with my family.
My happy place is out on the water, kitesurfing — calm, but with a bit of adrenaline.
(And yes — even though I’m Slavic, I don’t like pickles.)
